I teach piano lessons in Oxford and Tupelo, teach online Music Appreciation for Itawamba Community College, teach part-time at Oxford University School in Oxford, MS. and serve on the music staff of Monument Drive Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. I am also active at local and State levels of various professional music organizations such as MS. Music Teachers' Association, Mississippi Federation of Music Clubs, the Oxford Music Teachers Associaion, the Fortnightly Musicale of Tupelo and the Music Forum of Tupelo. I have accompanied the MS. Baptist Allstate Youth Choir and Orchestra for many years now each summer for their tour and teach at Heartsong Youth Music Camp in Hattiesburg each summer. I hold a Bachelor or Music Degree from Union University, a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of MS, a Master of Church music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Arts in Music Education from the Univ. of MS as well as studying briefly in Paris, France under a grant from the French government.
